The garden has benefited from all the rain but maintaining the lawn and weed control has kept us busy. Between the raindrops and grass cutting we were able to construct a large planter, rock walls and columns in the First Responder garden area.
The “Think Pink” Breast Cancer Survivors group had a meeting in the “pink” garden in early June where we enjoyed a delicious lunch and discussed an overview of the garden (photo below). We look forward to working with these ladies and others as we continue to add to the breast cancer garden. We are always glad to have visitors stopping by to see the progress.
