March Update

March has been a very busy month in the garden despite the unfavorable weather.  Several volunteers worked to install over 800 shrubs completing the hedge maze in two days.  Volunteers also planted an additional 18 trees throughout the garden.  We thank everyone for their hard work and appreciate all those who have donated this month.  The next six weeks are very important for us to reach our goal for planting this spring.  If you would like to join us in this effort please see our Volunteer page for more information.

We have been very encouraged by folks stopping by to visit the garden site and see the progress first hand.   We welcome visitors anytime you are in the area.  Please take one of our garden brochures from the box attached to our sign.

Our groundbreaking ceremony (rain or shine) is set for 8:00 am Tuesday, April 17.  We invite you to come and be a part this event.  Coffee and pastries will be served and a door prize to be given away at the end of the ceremony.
